tesa® 4848 is a surface protection film with an environmentally friendly polyethylene backing and a lightweight, durable acrylic adhesive. The film can be easily removed without leaving marks even four weeks after application. Strong acrylic adhesive has good adhesion on polar surfaces. This surface protection film is resistant to UV radiation, temperature, various chemicals, physical stress and moisture. The transparent base avoids the darkening effect when applying the film on windows. tesa® 4848 is often used to protect large areas during painting or façade work.
